Project-E will be an evaluation of the impact of SRL on universities only. It has now been 12 years since activists and students at Yale successfully advocated Bristol-Myers-Squib to license d4t for generic production. UAEM has spread Socially Responsible Licensing to at least 40 institutions globally, including 8 in Europe (as of December 2013).
To bolster the case for SRL, it is necessary to have stronger evidence than we currently do. Specifically, we want to know if SRL affects university incomes, their ability to negotiate with industry, and their licensing practices.
If you would like to know more about the project, see here .
All UAEMers are welcome to join this project.
